With the project we implemented in one of the automotive industry’s major spare parts distribution centers, we established an end-to-end tracking ecosystem that ensures thousands of parts are loaded onto the correct vehicle without deficiency. Thanks to high-precision positioning technology, we have reduced human error in shipping processes to zero.

Challenges in Logistics Operations
- Incorrect Loadings: Mixing up parts among vehicles waiting for shipment and loading the wrong product into the wrong vehicle.
- Missing or Extra Products: Customer complaints and return costs caused by missing parts overlooked during manual control processes.
- Operational Inefficiency: Slow progress with paper-based loading lists; difficulties in real-time tracking of work orders.
- Loss of Visibility: Disconnection of the data link between the load status and the delivery point once the vehicle leaves the facility.
What Have We Achieved?
1. Interactive Loading Control
The moment the operator taps “Start Loading” on the tablet mounted in the vehicle, the system lists the parts that need to be loaded. If an incorrect or missing part is detected during loading, the system provides both visual and audible warnings to prevent the error immediately. The “Finish Loading” confirmation is only granted when a “Zero Error” loading is completed.
2. End-to-End Shipment Tracking
The process does not stop after the vehicle leaves the facility. While the vehicle’s location is monitored live via integrated GPS, the same precise controls used during loading are repeated at the time of delivery when the operator selects “Start Delivery”. Thus, which product was delivered where, when, and to whom is recorded with 100% accuracy.
3. High-Accuracy Inventory Management
The presence of products is instantaneously verified by the system at every link of the distribution chain (loading, transit, delivery). This prevents stock leakages and generates real-time shipment reports.

Implemented Solution: Precision Positioning and Smart Shipment
To make the logistics flow within the facility error-free, we built an advanced IoT network that transforms every part and shipment vehicle into digital data points. At the core of the operation is the process of assigning a digital identity to every spare part or box awaiting shipment using high-precision smart tags. Mobile antenna and gateway hardware, which we strategically positioned inside distribution vehicles (trucks, lorries, vans), transform the vehicle’s cargo area into a smart data collection center.
The most critical engineering success of the system lies in our precise positioning algorithms, which process signal data transmitted by the tags communicating with the antennas inside the vehicle. These algorithms distinguish even the centimeter-level difference between two vehicles standing side-by-side, detecting which vehicle a part has been loaded into with unrivaled accuracy. This entire process is controlled instantaneously via tablet management panels placed in every vehicle, which operate in full synchronization with the central work order system. Consequently, the fact that the “right part is in the right vehicle” is verified at the hardware level, leaving no room for human error.
